We've got some Jazz Cookin'

Sustenance

We’re partnering with Cultivate Northumberland to serve up a mess ‘o New Orleans cuisine made with ingredients grown close to home. The bevy selection will include wine recommended by “Billy’s Best Bottles”, Codrington’s Empire Cider and Cobourg’sWillliam Street Beer.

Sights & Sounds

The Quickshifters open for the Chicago Tribute Band, Brass Transit, on Free Friday Night. Saturday afternoon’s line-up includes jump/blues jazz band The Jive Bombers, the flamenco soul of singer Amanda Martinez, pop-up Saxophone duo - Kirk MacDonald & Pat LaBarbera with a Coltrane tribute and Jazz/Gospel/R&B vocal diva Dione Taylor.
Chelsey Bennett kicks off Saturday evening where legendary pianist Oliver Jones will play the second to last gig on his Canadian farewell tour Saturday Night. He doesn’t know that we know his 82nd birthday is the very next day.

Sunday afternoon opens with the return of the romping musical gumbo of Red Hot Ramble, followed by sassy siren singer Tia Brazda, then gifted pianist/composer Marianne Trudel with her Quartet featuring leading Canadian trumpeter Kevin Turcotte and ends with crowd favourites John MacLeod & the Rex Hotel Orchestra.
