“Her smooth vocals invoke neat glasses of bourbon and smoky Parisian speakeasies.” -CBC Radio
Tia Brazda‘s sassy songs and pin-up girl style have made a startling impression, paying homage to the golden era while still remaining daringly modern.
Tia is described by the Globe and Mail as “a technicolor swing that’s just the thing.”
Roberta Hunt is the sizzling sass behind Red Hot Ramble. “Mix big piano with beautiful voice, add some attitude and a lot of charisma. With a penchant for those you-done-me-wrong songs and her musical roots in the jazz and spirituals of New Orleans: a picture of Roberta Hunt starts to emerge…”
Scintillating sass prevails on Sunday when Red Hot Ramble starts the afternoon and Tia Brazda follows. Next up is the enchanting Marianne Trudel Quartet with Kevin Turcotte and Canada’s finest big band, John MacLeod and the Rex Hotel Orchestra.
